All Images of the Month
Our Wonderful Australian Friend, Suzi Borg Olivier (1986)
Dave and I met Suzi in 1986 during our "Thundershower Tour" of New Orleans. Suzi was from Australia and was taking time off from work and things to travel the world. She was passing through New Orleans while Dave and I were playing there and we immediately made a strong connection. She ultimately changed her cross-the-US plans and came to stay with us in Indy for a couple of weeks. This picture was taken at the Dry Dock restaurant. Suzi is holding Bongo the Bear. Interestingly enough, she now owns a dog she loves very much named Bongo. A coincidence? I don't think so!!! We have recently reconnected with Suzi after 25 years. She is doing wonderfully well in the Gold Coast of Australia. We are so glad to be reconnected with this wonderful person and fabulous musician.

Monty the Mime (New Orleans 1986)
This is a picture of our New Orleans nemesis Monty the Mime taken by our very good Aussie friend Suzi Borg Olivier. Monty decided that his miming to our music would be good for all of us. Somehow his miming to "Atlanta's Burnin' Down" just didn't get it. We couldn't get him to go away. He showed up every day. I hate mimes!

David's Newest Tattoo - What a Compliment!
David Haddix, our former drummer and permanent member of the band currently serving in the Navy, recently got a new tattoo. It is a great compliment and we are thrilled he wanted to honor us this way. Way to go Navy Davey!

AeroPhillips
Band member Jill Phillips and her hubby Mike hangin' with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith.

That's My Dad!
Colleen, Kevin's daughter, joined the band at the Carmel Concert Series 2007 to fill in for Jill who was visiting Ireland. Colleen did a great job and is now the permanent fill-in vocalist.

A Rare Moment...Joe Smiling
Joe joined Kevin and Michelle at the Lazy Daze Coffee Shop on thursday night May 10 to help Jeff and the Lazy Daze crew welcome Starbucks to the neighborhood.

Al Atz Retirement Dinner
Al Atz, a very good friend of the band, recently retired from the IRS and Kevin and Dave played the party. Al got up and sang with the group on several songs (he knows ALL the words!). Al was the person who first suggested that Kevin and Dave perform "Magic Carpet Ride" which has become one of the band's favorites. Thanks Al!!!

Michelle (Haddix), Tom and David Prepare to Jump Out of a "Perfectly Good Plane"
Michelle, Tom and David went skydiving for David's 16th birthday. Tom had previously skydived back in the late 70s but hadn't left a plane while airborne since then. All three survived the jump and are anxious to repeat the trip again soon.

Kevin Sings with the BWs

Fun at the Bohannon Wedding
Dave recently noted that "We used to sing for our friends' weddings...now we've crossed over and we're playing for our friends' children's weddings...I think we're old now."
